London features some incredible festivals all year long, but considering fall is upon us and winter will soon be here, many are getting excited about the festivals that are going to be taking place throughout the rest of the year. There is something for everyone, and you’ll very likely be inspired to attend at least a few of the events. Ready for your social calendar to get filled? Let’s take a look at only four of the fantastic fall and winter festivals that are set to take place in London before 2016 is through.

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland
Celebrating 10 years this year, the Hyde Park Winter Wonderland in London is set to take place from November 18 to January 2, so you have plenty of time to go (and more than once if you so desire!), especially considering they’re open 10 am to 10 pm every day. Admission is free. Just some of the many things you can do include shopping at the Christmas market, dining on delicious food, visiting Santa Land, going ice skating, and hopping on the Giant Observation Wheel. It’s the perfect place to go with family or friends, on a date, or even by yourself.

Southbank Centre Winter Festival
From November 11, 2016, until January 25, 2017, the Southbank Centre Winter Festival will take place at the Southbank Centre, and it’s the perfect opportunity to get into the holiday spirit. There are activities for those of all ages, plenty of food, live music, and shopping, and that’s just the beginning of what’s being offered. Consider it a winter wonderland right in London.

EFG London Jazz Festival
Love jazz music or want to become more familiar with it? The EFG London Jazz Festival is ten days of incredible music. It takes place from November 11 to 20, and you’ll get to experience everything from concerts to talks. Just some of the many who are a part of the festival include Tim Garland, Oddarrang, James Blood Ulmer, and Kandace Springs. With talent like that, chances are you’re going to want to make an appearance every day.

On November 3, 4, and 5 you can attend the Wahaca’s Day of the Dead Festival in London from 8 pm to 2 am, but the market opens earlier. The Mexican-themed festival allows you to listen to live music, eat and drink fabulous food and beverages, and more. Some of those set to perform include Orkesta Mendoza, Centavrvs, DJ Rayo, and Family Atlantica. You will not want to miss this event! If you weren’t already planning a trip to London, we wouldn’t be surprised if the aforementioned festivals, as well as others that are scheduled to take place throughout fall and winter, inspire you to make some reservations. In addition to the festivals, you’ll also certainly have plenty of other activities to keep you occupied while you’re in the city. Happy travels!
