Chances are you’ve heard of Sandals resorts, but did you know that they offer golf vacations in the Caribbean? Just imagine jumping on a plane to head to the beautiful Caribbean to play golf, eat delicious food, have fabulous drinks, and enjoy the exquisite weather and scenery while you leave your responsibilities home for awhile. It can be a great opportunity to just relax and enjoy life and not worry about anything but trying to get a hole-in-one. Sound good? Check out the following three golf experiences that may be perfect for you.
Sandals Golf & Country Club in Jamaica
Located in Ocho Rios, you can play on an 18-hole golf course in Jamaica that’s 6,404-yards and par 71. They offer complimentary PGA-certified clinics, complimentary transfers, and complimentary green fees. You are going to have to pay to have a caddie for the day, however. There’s a driving range as well as a practice range that offers putting and chipping greens. Don’t forget to take the time to look around and admire the incredible views. When you get hungry, there’s a restaurant in the clubhouse as well as the Sweet Spot Jerk Shack which is located at #10.
Emerald Reef Golf Club in the Bahamas
Located in Great Exuma, Bahamas, the course at the Sandals Emerald Reef Golf Club was designed by Greg Norman. The views are positively spectacular. The 18-hole par 72 golf course makes its way through seaside dunes so you’ll definitely have quite the experience. Sandals guests get reduced green fees, and PGA golf lessons are available. You can also check out the practice range. Hungry or thirsty? You’ll have access to a club lounge as well as a beverage cart.
Sandals Golf Club in St. Lucia
Head over to St. Lucia where you can play on the 3,141-yard, 9-hole par 33 golf course at the Sandals La Toc Golf Resort & Spa. You’ll have to deal with narrow fairways and unpredictable breezes on this course. It’s here that you can get complimentary transportation, green fees, and the chance to attend a PGA-certified golf clinic. Caddies are a must. Just like the aforementioned experiences, make sure to take the time to look up and enjoy the exquisite views around you.
There are other perks to visiting each of the three golf courses but they vary from one place to the next. Also, keep in mind that rentals for everything from clubs to shoes are available so you don’t necessarily have to lug all your gear on the plane if you don’t want to.
