Miami is known for breathtaking beaches, but it’s also a shopping destination that will make every fashionista’s heart skip a beat. Whether you want to hit up luxury stores, do some thrifting, or buy one-of-a-kind items from local artists, Miami has something for everyone. Considering how many places there are to shop in this lively city, we’re going to help you narrow it down a bit to five can’t-miss locations to get some serious shopping done in Miami.

Bal Harbour Shops
The open-air shopping center in Miami is known for its luxury retail selections. Bal Harbour Shops opened in 1965 and they’ve increased in popularity ever since. Today, you’ll find upscale shopping options which include Alexander McQueen, Chanel, Bvlgari, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Fendi, Neiman Marcus, Michael Kors, Oscar de la Renta, Valentino, Tiffany & Co., Prada, and more.

Out of the Closet
If you love thrifting, head over to Out of the Closet in Miami and do a little shopping while also doing some good in the process. Located on N. Biscayne Boulevard, this fabulous thrift store sells housewares, accessories, books, clothing, and more, but they also do a lot of great things for the community. They offer free HIV testing and you can even get your prescriptions filled while you’re there. Counselors are also on site. Donations help benefit The AIDS Healthcare Foundation.

Design District
The Miami Design District features exquisite shops, fabulous restaurants, and beautiful art galleries. You can’t go wrong with a stop at this spot. Stores include Dior Homme, Emilio Pucci, Harry Winston, Lanvin Boutique, Miu Miu, Versace, Tom Ford, Valentino, Zadig & Voltaire, and so much more. Those who love art can stop over at The Haitian Heritage Museum, Maman Fine Art, Opera Gallery or one of the many other showrooms and galleries. When you get hungry, Cypress Tavern, Buena Vista Bistro, MC Kitchen, and The Embassy are just some of your options. There are so many places to explore and you’ll love every second of it.

CocoWalk
You could spend an entire day at CocoWalk in Miami by yourself, with friends, family, or on a date and still not get bored. Start your day off by doing a little shopping at Coco Cigars, Victoria’s Secret, Sportive, or one of the several other stores. Pick up a coffee at Starbucks and get your nails done at EK Nails, then head to one of the restaurants and get some delicious food. To end your night, catch a movie at Cinepolis Theaters then grab some dessert. That’s just the start of what CocoWalk has to offer.

Dolphin Mall
Dolphin Mall is a massive shopping center in Miami where you could easily (and happily) get lost. Just some of the many stores you can shop at include Bloomingdale’s – The Outlet Store, Armani Exchange, Old Navy Outlet, bebe, Calvin Klein, Charlotte Russe Outlet, Harley-Davidson, H&M, LOFT Outlet Store, and more. Hungry? Some restaurant options are Brother Jimmy’s BBQ, Chicken Connection, Kelly’s Cajun Grill, Kona Grill, and Texas de Brazil Churrascaria. With more than 240 stores, there are plenty of finds to make your own.

Shopping in Miami is a sport and one that you’ll definitely want to take part in. Go ahead and treat yourself!
