Take A Drive Through Trousdale Estates
Trousdale Estates is a breathtaking neighborhood in Beverly Hills, California—yes it features the iconic 90210 zip-code—that’s comprised of terraced lots and multi-million dollar homes that are the residences of some notable people. It’s no surprise that many want to take a drive through Trousdale Estates to see what it’s all about, and while it can be a fun experience, the following are just some of the tips you want to keep in mind before you hit the road.
Take Time to Admire the Landscaping
While the stunning houses are an obvious draw of Trousdale Estates, you can’t help but marvel at the exquisite landscaping. Rather than look through the trees, plants, and bushes as you’re driving past to get a gander at and appreciate the architecture, admire the landscaping as well and all the hard work and planning it took to make the grounds look so good.
Respect the Residents
One of the biggest benefits of living in Trousdale Estates is the fact that it offers a good amount of privacy to the residents, especially thanks to the aforementioned landscaping, so make sure to always respect those who live there. This means not trying to peek over the gates, ringing any doorbells, pulling into driveways, littering, etc.
Check the Weather Report
You can obviously take a drive through Trousdale Estates in the rare chance the weather isn’t so great, but do you really want to? The light isn’t going to be as good, you’re going to have to be even more cautious while driving due to the rain, and you’re going to have to choose between looking through your rainy car windows or having them open and getting all wet as you drive through the neighborhood. Check the weather report before you go.
Don’t Stop and Gawk
We get that you want to see the gorgeous homes, but considering there aren’t many sidewalks in Trousdale Estates it could be a precarious situation for those trying to drive by if you pull over especially around bends, etc. Many of the homes also have security features so it may look a bit suspicious to be standing outside of one or more homes in the area when you’re not a resident or a guest of one and you’re staring into the property. You will still be able to admire the beauty of the homes while just driving past.
Obey Driving Laws
It should go without saying, but make sure when you’re driving through Trousdale Estates that you obey all the driving laws which includes the speed limit. There are quite a few bends in the roads so you want to make sure you’re especially careful anywhere you go. Not only is it for safety purposes, but you probably don’t want to go home with a ticket in hand after what was supposed to be a fun and relaxing drive.
