Best Destinations for a Night Out

Hopefully your city, or the nearest big city within reasonable driving distance, has a decent nightlife scene. You’ll probably find some clubs, bars, pubs, etc., in every decently-sized city, so you can have fun nights out pretty much no matter where you are.

That said, what if you’re willing to travel and have a mini-vacation just to hit up one or more of the best places out there with a night scene? Taking a miniature vacation with your best friends can be a huge blast, and it’s basically the ultimate, extended night out, only for several days and nights at some of the best venues for partying. Hell, pile in a car and make it a road trip while you’re at it!

At any rate, we thought it would be fun to make a list of a few of the best places for fun nights out, so do check them out if you ever get a chance.

Las Vegas, Nevada
Does this one really need an explanation? Not only does Las Vegas feature numerous bright, impressive, grandiose casinos where you can strike it rich or lose your life’s savings in a flash (we recommend deciding ahead of time how much you’re willing to lose, and sticking to that hard limit; it helps to leave your credit card in the hotel room and only take as much cash as you’re willing to lose), but additionally, inside many of the casinos are loud, lively nightclubs.

Miami Beach, Florida
This place gets pretty ridiculous after the sun goes down. The nightlife scene in Miami beach is as vibrant as it is varied. There’s something for everyone here, and you can chose either to blow out your eardrums dancing in a noisy club or recline with a martini at a nice lounge.

Austin, Texas
In Austin, you’ll find a vibrant and eccentric crowd of party goers after dark. Head to 6^th street for a great place to bar-crawl, or head to one of many of the live music venues all over the city for a somewhat different style of nightlife while checking out some hot local bands.

New York City, New York
We’ve saved the best for last on this list. Remember how we said that Miami beach has something for everyone when it comes to nightlife venues? Well, that’s totally true, and the glitz and glamor of Miami is definitely worth checking out, but when it comes to sheer amount and variety of nightlife options, no one beats New York. Here you’ll find no shortage of bars for hopping, high-end lounges where you can have a drink while actually being able to hear yourself think, dance clubs, karaoke bars, and more. Honestly, if you’re going to come to the big apple for the nightlife, you simply must stay several days. You’re gonna need to if you hope to even come close to sampling all of the various kinds of venues this great city has for after-dark fun until the wee hours of the morning.
